The 3rd Annual Essence Street Style Block Party, hosted by Dana Blair, featured appearances from Kelly Rowland, Naturi Naughton, Zendaya Coleman and a wonderful musical performance from Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayo Jay.
The event also featured a live fashion show, where attendees had an opportunity to walk the runway. Although the weather was extremely hot and humid, attendees did not waiver on the fashion front. Everyone looked great.
Additionally, attendees were provided with a shopping experience comprised of local designers and vendors. Essence editors and style experts were also on hand for meet and greets. There was even a fun art activity for kids in the children’s zone and onsite dining in the food zone featuring local food trucks.
I ran into so many people at the event. Most of whom I had not seen in years. Overall, it was a fun day in the sun with friends and I look forward to attending next year.
Here are some images I captured.
